Cookies and local storage

The short version: this site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Visitors' browsers hold a small amount of information in local storage so that features such as the enquiry basket work. Staff who sign in to the administration area receive one strictly necessary session cookie.
This page explains each item. Please read it alongside our privacy notice.

How local storage is used
Local storage is a small area of your browser that a website can use to remember things on your device. Unlike a cookie, it is not sent to our server automatically with each page you open.
On this site the information in local storage stays on your device. It is never sent anywhere until you choose to submit an enquiry. At that point the contents of your basket and the form you have completed are sent to us so that we can respond. Your contact details are not kept in local storage.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies or cookies that track you across other websites. Visitors do not have accounts on this site, so there is no visitor sign-in cookie. The site does not embed third-party content such as video players, maps or social media feeds.
Analytics
Analytics on this site is optional and is switched off unless the site owner enables it. If it is enabled, it is a privacy-friendly service used to understand which pages are useful. It does not receive the contents of forms or any personal details you give us.
Controlling what is stored
- Removing items from your enquiry basket or comparison list on the site removes them from local storage.
- Clearing site data for kioskcraft.com in your browser settings removes the basket, comparison list, finder answers and form drafts together.
- Private or incognito windows discard local storage when you close them.
- If you block local storage altogether you can still read the site, but the basket, comparison and saved drafts may not work or may not be remembered between pages.

If we add or change anything that is stored on your device, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions are welcome at info@kioskcraft.com.
