Kiosks, displays and software for your sector

Every sector has its own version of the same pressures: queues at busy times, front desks that are stretched and information that changes faster than printed signs can follow. These pages set out example applications, suitable hardware and the software that would need scoping for ten sectors.

Start with the requirement, not the screen

A kiosk or display is only useful when it fits the way a business actually runs. A takeaway needs orders to reach the kitchen. A hotel needs today's events on the right door. A bus operator needs a screen that runs from the vehicle's supply. The hardware may look similar, but the job, the setting and the software behind it are different each time.

Each sector page follows the same pattern: the day-to-day pressure in that sector, example applications, the hardware families that suit the setting, the software that would need scoping, and the questions worth answering before you ask for a quote. The applications are examples, labelled as such. They are not accounts of completed customer projects.

Choose your sector

  • Restaurants, cafés and takeaways

Self-service ordering, digital menu boards and kitchen and collection screens, planned as one system.

  • Retail and showrooms

Window displays, in-store promotion screens and touchscreens for browsing a wider range than the shop floor holds.

  • Hotels and accommodation

Guest information, lift and meeting-room displays, and check-in scoped to the property's booking system.

  • Healthcare reception and information

Waiting-room information, wayfinding and scoped arrival check-in, with privacy and accessibility considered first.

  • Education and training

Interactive whiteboards for teaching rooms, notice screens and scoped visitor sign-in.

  • Offices and reception areas

Visitor check-in, meeting-room door displays, lobby screens and boardroom whiteboards.

  • Transport and public spaces

Vehicle displays, outdoor screens, payment kiosks and wayfinding, where keeping information current matters most.

  • Events and exhibitions

Portable battery touchscreens, photo booth platforms and showcase displays that travel.

  • Leisure and entertainment

Ticket and food kiosks, programme displays and interactive attractions for venues with sharp peaks.

  • Automotive businesses

Product browsing, service reception and showroom displays, with sales software scoped around your process.

How we approach any sector

The sector changes the detail, not the method. Every project connects the hardware, the software and your business requirement.
  1. Understand the requirement

We start with what happens on your premises: who uses the screen, what they need to do, what changes day to day and which systems you already rely on.

  2. Match the hardware to the setting

Indoor, window-facing, outdoor or in a vehicle; countertop, wall or floor; touch or display only. We suggest families that suit the position and confirm sizes, options and ratings for the chosen model.

  3. Scope the software

Content management, kiosk applications, integrations and AI-assisted sales management are designed and built around your requirements. We check what your existing systems allow before promising a link to them.

  4. Quote each part separately

Hardware, software development and any ongoing management are described and quoted separately, so you can see what each part involves. Commercial terms are set out in the quotation.

  5. Install, hand over and support

Installation, rollout across sites and support arrangements are agreed for the project rather than assumed.

Not sure which page fits your business?

Many businesses sit across more than one sector, and plenty are not listed here at all. Find your solution asks a few questions about your setting and what you want the screens to do, then suggests suitable products. You can also contact us with a short description of your premises and we will point you in the right direction.

Frequently asked questions

My sector is not listed. Can you still help?

Yes. The sector pages are starting points, not limits, and the same hardware families and software services apply to many other settings. Use Find your solution, or describe your premises and what you want the screens to do, and we will suggest suitable options.

Are the applications on these pages real customer projects?

No. They are illustrative examples, written to show how hardware and software can be combined in a given setting, and each one is labelled as an example. We would rather describe what is possible honestly than present a hypothetical as a finished project.

Do you supply the software as well as the hardware?

Yes, as a scoped service. We design and build kiosk applications, content management, integrations and AI-assisted sales management around each customer's requirements. Hardware, software development and ongoing management are described and quoted separately.
