This notice explains how Kiosk Craft uses personal information when you visit kioskcraft.com or send us an enquiry. Kiosk Craft is the data controller for that information. For any privacy question, email info@kioskcraft.com.
It covers this website and the enquiries made through it. Kiosks, displays and software operated by our customers are covered by those customers' own privacy information.
Information you give us

There are no visitor accounts on this site, and we never ask for payment details.
Technical information
When you submit a form, our system records the time and a salted hash of your IP address. A hash is a one-way code. It lets us limit repeated submissions and protect the forms from spam without keeping your IP address in readable form in our enquiry records.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. What is stored in your browser, and how optional analytics works, is explained on our cookies page.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and give you advice.
- To prepare a quotation for the hardware, software or services you have asked about.
- To follow up with you about that enquiry.
- To keep appropriate business records of enquiries and quotations.
- To protect our forms from spam and abuse through rate limiting.
- To send you marketing emails, but only if you have opted in. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Where your information is stored and who processes it
Enquiry records are stored in an access-controlled administration system. Staff access is role-based, so people see only what their role requires, and activity is recorded in an audit log.
We use service providers that process information on our behalf, in three categories: a website hosting provider, a managed database provider, and a transactional email provider that delivers enquiry notifications to us and acknowledgements to you. Our hosting provider necessarily handles technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver pages to your browser and keep the service secure.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, appropriate safeguards recognised by UK data protection law are used to protect it.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry information only for as long as we need it to handle the enquiry, provide quotations and keep appropriate business records. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will do so unless we have a lawful reason to keep it.
Your rights
- Access: ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Rectification: ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your information.
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your information.
- Objection: object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests.
- Portability: ask for the information you gave us in a commonly used electronic format.
- Withdrawing consent: stop marketing emails at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew.
- Complaint: raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection.
How to use your rights or make a complaint
Email info@kioskcraft.com and tell us what you would like us to do. We may ask for information to confirm who you are before we act, so that we do not release or change the wrong person's details. We respond within the time limits set by data protection law.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so that we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the ICO at any time. Its website is ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when the way we handle personal information changes, and we will change the date at the top when we do.
