A holographic-style showcase is a presentation enclosure: animated content appears to float inside a glass viewing chamber, where it can sit beside a real product placed inside. It is a way of stopping people on an exhibition stand or a shop floor. We call it holographic-style because it is a display effect inside an enclosure, not an image projected into open air.
Holographic Display Showcases (view the range) are listed in 180°, 270° and 360° viewing formats, the last in regular and inverted arrangements, in desktop and floor-standing designs, in black, white or a custom colour. Screen sizes are listed from 19 to 55 inch at 350 to 500 cd/m². A large-format enclosure of around 2 by 2 metres is also referenced, which we treat as a bespoke enquiry. Content can come over HDMI, from standalone playback, or from a built-in Android or Windows configuration, and a separate capacitive touchscreen from 10.1 to 32 inch can be built in.
Two decisions shape the project: where the showcase will stand, which sets the viewing format, and what it will show, which has to be produced for that format. If you want visitors to choose what plays, the touchscreen option turns the showcase into a small interactive exhibit, and the application behind it is bespoke kiosk software to scope. Content scheduling across several units falls under digital signage content management.
