High-Brightness Open-Frame Modules
High-brightness display modules in 32, 43, 55 and 65 inch sizes, supplied open-frame for integration into a suitable enclosure.

- 2,000 to 2,500 nits
Putting a screen outside changes the engineering. It has to stay readable in daylight, keep rain and dust out, and manage its own temperature through a winter night and a summer afternoon. That is why an outdoor display is a different product from an indoor screen in a box, and why the details are confirmed model by model.
Outdoor Advertising Displays (view the range) are listed from 21.5 to 98 inch in wall-mounted, floor-standing and ceiling-mounted designs, in Full HD with 4K options. The range is stated with 1,500, 2,000 and 2,500-nit configurations and a brightness sensor, IP65 protection, a −30 °C to 45 °C operating range, galvanised steel construction with an outdoor powder-coated finish, and fan or air-conditioned cooling with optional heating. Those figures are stated for the outdoor range and confirmed for the selected model with your quotation.
If you are an integrator building your own housing, the High-Brightness Open-Frame Module (view the range) is the component route: a 2,000 to 2,500-nit display module designed to go inside a suitable weatherproof enclosure. It is not weatherproof by itself. Whichever route you take, plan the content side too. The outdoor range lists HDMI input, USB updating, and Android or Windows configurations, and digital signage content management is scoped separately.

Open-frame displays
High-brightness display modules in 32, 43, 55 and 65 inch sizes, supplied open-frame for integration into a suitable enclosure.
Outdoor advertising displays
Outdoor advertising screens from 21.5 to 98 inch in totem, wall and portable forms, with high-brightness panels and cooling options set for each model.
Where they fit
Example application: a totem at a forecourt entrance or a menu screen beside a drive-through lane, where the display has to work in all weathers.
Advertise offers and opening hours on a freestanding totem or a wall unit where indoor screens cannot reach passing trade.
Show service information, tariffs and advertising in exposed positions, with brightness matched to the site.
Use outdoor units for site maps, directions and notices. Touch is listed as available for the outdoor range where visitors need to search.
Promote events, queue times and food offers at entrances and along outdoor concourses.
Choosing
If the screen sits behind glass inside the building, a shop window display gives the brightness without a weather-rated enclosure. If it stands outside, even under a canopy, it needs the outdoor range. IP65 and the −30 °C to 45 °C operating range are stated for the outdoor range only and are confirmed for the selected model.
All three are listed for the outdoor range. A floor-standing totem usually needs a prepared base and a power supply brought to the position. Wall and ceiling units need a structure that can take the load and a cable route. These site works are outside the display itself, so they are planned with you before installation.
The range lists 1,500, 2,000 and 2,500-nit configurations with a brightness sensor that adjusts output to the ambient light. A shaded, north-facing position needs less than one in direct afternoon sun. Anti-glare glass is described as an available extra. The configuration for your site is confirmed with your quotation.
Outdoor enclosures manage their own temperature. The range lists fan ventilation or an air-conditioner unit, with heating as an option. Which is appropriate depends on the screen size, the brightness configuration and how exposed the site is, so it is settled model by model and not assumed.
A finished outdoor display arrives as an enclosed unit. The high-brightness open-frame module is a component for integrators: it supplies the bright screen, cooling fans and power board, but the enclosure, sealing and weather protection are the integrator's responsibility. The module alone must not be used outdoors.
Beyond the hardware
Applications and management tools are designed and built per project, then quoted separately from the hardware.

Questions
IP65 protection is stated for the outdoor range, and it is confirmed for the selected model with your quotation. IP65 describes an enclosure that is dust-tight and protected against water jets. The rating applies to the finished outdoor display, never to indoor products or to open-frame modules.
An operating range of −30 °C to 45 °C is stated for the outdoor range and confirmed for the selected model with your quotation. The enclosures use fan ventilation or an air-conditioner unit, with heating available as an option, and the right combination depends on the screen size, brightness and site.
These are bespoke project options only. They are not standard features, and they bring their own electrical design, installation and approval requirements. If either is part of your plan, describe it in your enquiry and we will assess it as a custom project.
Touch is listed as available for the outdoor range, and the range information also mentions that a printer, QR code scanner, NFC reader or payment terminal can be built in as a project option. None of that makes the display a payment kiosk by default: card terminals are supplied by your payment provider unless separately agreed, an NFC reader does not by itself accept bank cards, and the software has to be scoped. If ordering or payment is the main purpose, start with outdoor kiosks.
Quite possibly. Illuminated outdoor advertising can need consent from your local planning authority, and tenants usually need their landlord's agreement as well. Check before you commit to a position. Dimensions and mounting details for the selected model are confirmed with your quotation, which helps with any application.
Only inside a suitable weatherproof enclosure designed and built by an integrator. The module provides the bright screen, fan cooling and power board, but it has no weather rating of its own. If you want a finished product, choose an outdoor advertising display instead. Read more under open-frame displays.
Describe what the screen needs to do and where it will go. We will recommend the right hardware and software and confirm the configuration in a written quotation.
